HVAC and Energy Management Workshops

We’re hitting the road for a series of free HVAC and Energy Management workshops across Virginia and West Virginia, where the experts from Festo Didactic will show you how to give students hands-on experience with industrial HVAC control equipment.

Throughout this one-day workshop, attendees will receive hands-on training on three different Festo HVAC training systems:

  • Electricity Fundamentals – Introduce students to the fundamentals of electricity and the electrical components used in HVAC-R systems by teaching connect circuits, measure electrical parameters, perform calculations, and troubleshooting.
  • Building Energy Management – A complete understanding of the direct digital control (DDC) of HVAC systems requires training that covers the main control schemes used in building energy management. This training system covers single-zone and multi-zone control, constant air volume (CAV) systems, and variable air volume (VAV) systems.
  • Multi-Zone Wireless Control – Allow students to connect and configure rooftop units and zone controllers to build a solid understanding of the floating and analog control of a single-zone as well as multi-zone control.

This workshop is free for educators and lunch will be provided.
