CNC Design and Fabrication, Our Workshop Recap

Last week we held two CNC machining workshops focused on design and fabrication — one at Nansemond-Suffolk Academy in Suffolk, Virginia and one at Montgomery College in Rockville, Maryland.

Both were a big success! Workshop attendees completed a lab just as they would ask their students to do – using a Denford router and Denford QuickCAM 2D Design software with the VCarve plugin.

Attendees learned to design and machine a jewelry box inscribed with a custom message or logo. Throughout the process, we covered how this lesson allows students to learn how to seamlessly integrate CAD/CAM software within the CNC process. Here are some photos from the event.
