Just like any new technology, it is critical to apply any firmware updates to your Stratasys F123 Series 3D printer. To ensure the best possible performance, you should update the firmware as soon as you receive your new 3D printer as well as periodically as new firmware updates are released. Here is a step-by-step guide explaining how.
First, put the printer into Update mode. Then:
1. Select the Tools Button on the left hand side:
2. Select “Maintenance”:
3. Select “Update Software”:
4. You will now be prompted to send the update file from GrabCAD Print:
5. Open GrabCAD Print and select your printer by pressing the down arrow to the left of the Print button:
6. Click on your printer’s name:
7. Select “Settings”:
8. If your printer’s firmware needs to be updated, it will show it here and give you a button to download and apply the latest update. In our example, our printer is currently up to date.
Don’t forget to check for updates often!
