The field of industrial robotics is experiencing explosive growth and companies are struggling to find enough employees with the skills needed to operate and program them.
Naturally, schools want to keep up with these workforce demands. One way we’re seeing schools do this is by teaching to national certifications, like the FANUC Certified Education programs with hands-on applied technology in robotics and advanced manufacturing.
You can find more information on the specific certifications here, but ultimately workforce needs and the current skills gap are some reasons FANUC developed a their CERT Cart and FANUC Certified Robot Operator and Technician certifications.
One of our favorite options for this is the FANUC mobile CERT cart, which are designed to fit through a regular door and plug into a standard wall outlet – so all you have to do is pick what goes in your cart. Find below a list of options we find to be most popular (robots like the standard 6 Axis LR Mate or from a range of specialty robots such as welding, pick and place, or collaborative robots).
Our packages also include simulation software and instructor training. Here’s a sampling of those robots.
