Levil Milling and Turning Workshop

Join us for a 2-day milling and turning workshop that is free for educators. Day 1 we will focus on milling and Day 2 we will focus on turning. Join us for either day or both!

This workshop will be led by Levil’s Production Manager, Carlos Leon; a systems engineer with over 30 years of experience servicing industrial customers. We will cover:

• Overview of CNC programming codes and program structure
• Automatic operations
• Setting coordinate system offsets
• Setting tool length offsets
• Spindle operation
• Manual and automatic tool change operations
• Axis jog via manual modes
• Manual Data Input (MDI) commands
• Input/Output of programs using the USB port
• Machine preventative maintenance

Lunch will be provided. Attendees will receive a certificate of professional development hours completed.
