Meet Stratasys' Newest Addition to the F123 3D Printer Series

This week Stratasys unveiled it’s new F120 3D Printer at the Additive Manufacturing User Group (AMUG) Conference in Chicago. This is BIG NEWS for the education community because this printer makes it simple even for the novice to get started with 3D printing in the design studio.

Desktop 3D printers often struggle to produce reliable and accurate parts without technical know-how. The F120 features simple controls, remote self-monitoring, exclusive 3D printing hardware, and extremely high levels of reliability and repeatability.

This printer was designed to create high-quality FDM models time-after-time. It’s streamlined plug-and-print functionality removes complexity from typical workflow processes with a user-friendly touchscreen interface and GrabCAD Print workflow.

It can print up to 3X faster than competitive solutions and tested 24/7 performance and its large filament boxes allow for up to 250 hours of uninterrupted printing.

We know this printer is effective because it is backed by 1200 hours of testing of the most important print performance attributes – including part robustness, accuracy, and how well the printed part matches the CAD file.
