Students learning and developing their microcontroller programming skills need the ability to write C code into software and convert to graphical icons.
Matrix’s programming software for electronic and electromechanical system development — called Flowcode 8 — has a great new feature that lets users do just that.
While users have always been able to turn flowcharts into C code with this software, this is the first time the opposite is also possible. This new feature also lets users switch between the four main programming modes and also simulate C code.
To convert C code, simply click on and highlight the C-code icon you wish to convert into Flowcharts and right-click on the icon and select “Convert C-code” menu option. The C code will then be parsed by Flowcode and transformed into the relevant flowchart icons. Watch this video to see how it all works.
