Creating a Realistic Simulation Environment for Future Healthcare Professionals
Crossland High School’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) department, located in Maryland, identified the nursing program as a priority area for enhancement. With available funding, the CTE department aimed to revamp its nursing lab to provide students with a more realistic, hands-on learning experience that would prepare them for future careers in healthcare. To achieve this goal, the CTE department partnered with us to update and outfit their nursing lab with state-of-the-art equipment and furnishings.
Project Initiation
The project began with a collaborative effort between our team and the CTE supervisor and staff at Crossland High School. The primary objective was to upgrade the existing nursing lab, ensuring it was equipped with the latest technology and furniture to simulate a real-world healthcare environment.
