Overview
DAC Worldwide’s Gear/Belt Drive Accessory (203-002) is an optional enhancement for DAC Worldwide’s Vibration Analysis Demonstrator (203) in order to study the unique vibration signatures created by belt drive gear interaction in rotating equipment. The detection of belt and gear faults is regularly encountered by maintenance personnel when performing preventive and predictive maintenance tasks on industrial rotating equipment. The entire assembly can be easily mounted on standard T-slotted demonstrator baseplates using provided hardware and experimentation can take place at the end of the related demonstrator’s shafting. Consisting of a brass gear set, an aluminum sheave, and positive drive belt set with specialty mounting plate allowing for center-to-center adjustment. The assembly is shipped complete and fully assembled with a removable guard.

Hands-On Training
