Valve Cutaway Short Set

Model Number: 270DS

A four-piece industrial valve cutaway set for realistic classroom training in valve operation, construction, and maintenance.

Overview

DAC Worldwide’s Valve Cutaway Short Set (270DS) is a four-piece assortment of re-manufactured and cutaway industrial valves, allowing for classroom training in the operation, construction, and maintenance of common valves used in industry. The fully-detailed examples of industrial valve cutaways give learners a first-hand view into a component that is found in various maintenance applications worldwide.

This basic mechanical valve cutaway includes a total of four valves, each of which includes carefully-planned sectioning and color-coding, allowing the complete internal configuration of each valve to be exposed and showcased. Seats and closure devices are color-coded, while seal features and primary hardware locations are retained, allowing for hands-on learning.

The short set includes four of the most common valve types found in industry and within commercial applications: a Globe Valve, a Swing Check Valve, a Ball Valve, and a Steel Gate Valve.

Features

  • Sectioning of actual industrial hardware using common valve makes and models
  • Cleaned, primed, and painted with a high-durability urethane coating
  • Includes brass or bronze globe, swing check, and ball valves plus a steel gate valve
  • Informational key chart with valve names and common P&ID and piping drawing symbols
  • Replacement plated hardware throughout, when required
