Try the New Stratasys Elastomer Material for More Flexible, Durable Parts

Last week Stratasys announced that you can now 3D print elastomer parts on Stratasys F123 Printers using their newly developed FDM TPU 92A material.

With elastomer and the F123 Series printer you can create large parts and overhangs, incorporate cavities and complex geometries, or create hoses that stretch and bend. As always, the process is repeatable, easy and accurate plus parts are durable and realistic.

Here are the details:

What are the benefits of using TPU 92A?

  • Quick turnaround: Get elastomer parts in hand in hours versus days
  • Large build size: Produce the size you need- larger prototype capabilities
  • Complex design: Create complex geometries not possible with other additive manufacturing options
  • Reliability: Highly functional elastomer material that reliably produces complex and accurate prototypes
  • Cost effectiveness: Build all prototypes (elastomer and other thermoplastics) on a single system with fast, easy material changeovers
  • Ease of usability: User-friendly software with quick learning curve – No dedicated operator needed

Elastomer material is just one of several new FDM and PolyJet products Stratasys released. Learn more about that here. Or request a sample from us.
