We’re moving forward with last week’s Halloween themed Tuesday Tutorial to take on Part Two of this three-part series.
In Part One, we showed how to create the body of your pumpkin in SolidWorks. We created surfaces, combined those surfaces to form a solid, mirrored a solid body and created a circular pattern of the result.
In this video, we walk through the steps of slicing off the top of your pumpkin, which we later assemble back together. This way you can add a flameless candle inside once you’ve printed the final design.
We also show how to create a stem and change your pumpkin’s colors. Finally, we carve its face.
Stay tuned to Part Three where we’ll render and print our final design!
